Devon "DB" Brown
Vocals
He's one of DC's own Best Kept Secrets! Devon Brown better know as "D.B." is now on display in the Washington DC area 3 nights a week as a member of the very popular group "FAMILIAR FACES".  With his unique technique when it comes to making sounds on the mic, he's no amateur, he has the full package of originality with an energetic personality. When it comes to getting people on the dance floor or serenading the ladies with his all too familiar tune or hyping up the crowd with a mean 16 Bars!  Devon became familiar with setting the atmosphere growing into his gift and passion to sing and for the love of music in his church home at the age of five years old. As he grew older inspired by New Edition, UGK and  Mint Condition, he began to move forward in singing in school choirs, chamber choirs and barbershop quartets, but his creativity didn't allow him to stop there! Devon put his first garage band together called "Crucial Effect" of whom formatted their music around R&B, hip hop, and Go-Go. As he grew into the young man he is today, he became a hot trend in the community of gogo and got his early experience with Conspiracy Band, Firm Project, Occupation, & 360 Band. Devon has set his own trend with his original tunes, melodic cyphers as lead mic and male vocalist. With his creative writing Devon linked up with Rated R in recording a single called "Sensation" which aired on WPGC Home Jamz for three weeks straight. Devon is no stranger when it comes to bringing down the house with great vocal ability, harmony and energy and has become well respected for his craft and what he brings into the genre  of gogo. Anyone who gets the opportunity to see him in his element is undeniably in for a treat!

During his tenure there, Sean was fortunate to perform with such greats as The Count Basie Orchestra, Lionel Ritchie, Gladys Knight and others. After two years at Hampton, Sean transferred to Bowie State University. At Bowie, he also performed with their Jazz band. It was during this period that Sean's music began to take a different direction. In 1993, Sean accepted the Bass guitar position at Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, MD. During his residence at Ebenezer, Sean performed with gospel artists such as Yolanda Adams, Tramaine Hawkins, Dorothy Norwood, Shirley Ceaser, Allen & Allen, Albertina Walker, Min. Byron Cage, Richard Smallwood, Rev. Timothy Wright, Rev. Daryl Coley, Rev. Donald Vails and many others. Though spending the majority of his time playing gospel, Sean continued to play jazz as well. In 1996, Sean joined a contemporary jazz band named Key Element. This unit consisted of Vinton Jones on drums, Elliott Fields Jr. on saxophone, and Keith Brannon on keys. During their 18-month tenure, they recorded one single, "Funky Sumertime", which stayed on charts for 8 weeks straight. About 5 months later, Sean started his own jazz group simply named "The Sean Geason Project". Since that time, Sean has been blessed to share the stage with many artists including Will Downing, Maysa, Jeffrey Osborne, Jean Carne, Michael Henderson, Nancy Wilson, Glenn Jones, Regina Belle, Chante Moore, Kenny Lattimore, Ledesi, Lalah Hathaway, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Vicki Winans, BeBe Winans, Spur of the Moment and many others.
